The European Medicines Agency today recommended the approval of the COVID-19 vaccine developed by AstraZeneca and the University of Oxford for people over the age of 18 years……….
Europe urgently needs more vaccines in order to speed up Europeans' immunization program, with vaccines such as AstraZeneca and Pfizer have difficulty delivering the quantities promised for the first months of the year.
The AstraZeneca vaccine should only be given to people between 18 and 64 years, due to lack of data on how effective it is in older people, reported yesterday, Thursday, the German Vaccination Committee in a draft recommendation.
