The restrictive measures taken by the government to stop the coronavirus pandemic were reported by the Y.NA.N.P., Giannis Plakiotakis from Spetses, on the sidelines of his visit to the Port Authorities of the Saronic Gulf………..
“Our priority at the Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy is to ensure the maximum degree of health of the inhabitants and visitors of our islands, but also of the passengers and crews of the ships”, stressed the Minister of Shipping and Island Policy Mr.. Giannis Plakiotakis from Spetses, on the sidelines of his visit to the Port Authorities of the Saronic Gulf.
All the officers of the Coast Guard”, he continued, “are daily everywhere, in ports, and ships, checking compliance with the necessary protection measures.
This is exactly what happens in the ports of Aegina, of Poros, of Hydra and Spetses.
We know that some measures are unpleasant. But it is absolutely necessary. We want to thank all the inhabitants of the Saronic islands for their understanding and cooperation as well as the local authorities for their effort and we assure them that the Coast Guard continues with undiminished intensity to do everything necessary to win the battle against the coronavirus.”, concluded.
Mr. Plakiotakis was accompanied during his visit to the islands of the Saronic Gulf by the Member of Parliament A Piraeus and.
