Norwegian Cruise announced Tuesday that it will launch cruises outside the United States, in the Greek islands and the Caribbean, resuming travel after a long time due to COVID-19………
The company had asked the federal health authorities on Monday to allow the departure from the US ports following the latest instructions of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the industry, including the obligation to be crew and passengers vaccinated against COVID-19.
Norwegian Cruise will initially offer seven-day cruises to the Greek islands from Piraeus from 25 July and seven-day trips to the Caribbean, starting from Montego Bay in Jamaica and from La Romana, in the Dominican Republic in August.
The trips will operate with a strong program of health and safety measures, including mandatory vaccinations for all guests and crew, as well as mass tests for the coronavirus.
The Royal Caribbean Group will also continue to carry out some of the Caribbean cruises in June with vaccinated adult visitors.
