Revolution in the KEP!! With video call, the new way of serving citizens and businesses!!…..
The possibility of remote service of citizens and businesses by KEP with video call, on a special platform, through the Unified Digital Portal of the Public Administration, gives an amendment that was submitted earlier today to the Parliament.
It will save time that the citizens had for their physical presence in the KEP, said the Deputy Minister of Digital Governance - responsible for simplification of procedures- George Georgantas, presenting the relevant amendment to the Public Administration Committee where the draft law on the enhancement of audiovisual projects and the strengthening of digital governance is being discussed., to which the specific provision has been submitted.
As the Undersecretary explained, the video call will be made by appointment, in which the citizen will choose a specific thematic unit of his interest, so that the question is addressed to a specialized employee of the KEP who will be able to answer on the specific thematic unit, via video calling.
As he also mentioned, it will not be necessary to have a continuous picture if the employee does not want it, but there will be a conversation without a picture, but after the citizen has previously shown his identity.
The Undersecretary pointed out that the KEP employee, if he already knows the question, will be prepared for the response and there will be ready and communication nodes to extract information, even at the time of the conversation.
As said Mr.. Georgantas, KEP staff is already being trained by the municipalities.
This additional service will initially be launched in some KEPs but then it is planned to expand the stores that will serve the citizen., in that way.
in any case, as the Deputy Minister of Digital Governance hastened to emphasize, as much of the population is unfamiliar with digital skills, θα υπάρχουν πάντα τα ΚΕΠ αναβαθμισμένα και στελεχωμένα και τεχνικώς επαρκώς εξοπλισμένα ώστε να εξυπηρετούνται οι πολίτες.
