Biography of St. Nicholas
St. Nicholas was born in the 3rd century AD. Patara in Lycia, parents pious and wealthy and was active at the time of the emperors Diocletian (284 – 304 A.D.), Maximian (286 – 305 A.D.) and Constantine.
At a young age he lost and heir of a great property. But Nicholas, inspired by philanthropic feelings, He had the fortune to relieve indigent, orphans, poor, widows, distressed householders. one of them, He corrupted his three daughters, to Get Money.
