As stressed today during a press conference, A new era begins in the relations of the citizens with the Coast Guard, upon commissioning, within the first ten days of November, special application for the electronic registration and processing of applications within the competence of the Port Police.
As it was said, the e-IAS application, is a complete information system, through which citizens and legal entities will be able to fully process, without the need for physical presence, range of activities, for which they now have to visit the local Port Authorities.
The 10 activity categories
In the initial phase the application will cover 10 activity categories:
- Lifeguard license
- Diver activity
- Activation of sea taxi
- Activation of a trainee diver
- Rental of marine recreational facilities
- Rental of motor boats and small speedboats
- Establishment and operation of a diving workshop
- Diving leisure services
- Speedboat pilot training school
- School of lifeguard training
During the press conference it was emphasized that the previous two years, only for the specific ten professional activities were carried out more than 3.500 citizens' applications.
In the next phase, by introducing other activities into the system, cover cases for which the previous two years were submitted over 7.000 applications.

With the new system, we serve the goal of better and faster service, with full transparency and reliability and at the same time facilitate the work of the Port Police.
This is an intersection that decisively enhances the functionality and efficiency of the Coast Guard, serving our goal of steadily improving the level of services we provide to citizens ".
The Chief of the Coast Guard, Rear Admiral L.. S.. Theodore Clears, He said the following:
