The Tax Office is moving into the digital age with the electronic platform myData – When it is put into operation………
The Tax Office is entering the digital age as more and more operations are done online. The plan of the Ministry of Finance and AADE provides for the connection of all POS of the market within 2021, in order to limit the loss of VAT. Alongside, the plan provides for the use of electronic platforms so that taxpayers do not have to go to the Tax Office. Such platforms are:
- the myData for accounting books and standard 'products'
- the mycar for the immobility of vehicles
- the mythermansi for heating allowance
It is noted that the "mybusinessSupport», is an important step towards the digital age as through the implementation of the actions for the granting of the allowances and the repayable advance to thousands of beneficiaries were implemented.
Alongside, For April 1, the start of the mandatory digital transmission on the e-Books platform-myData has been postponed for all businesses and for documents issued from this date onwards., amending the joint decision of the Deputy Minister of Finance Apostolos Vesyropoulos and the Governor of the Independent Public Revenue Authority George Pitsilis. Along with reducing the administrative costs of business, AADE e-books are expected to enhance the transparency of transactions.
The moment a transaction is made, AADE will be automatically informed and will be able to monitor the entire process. Data will be automatically crossed between professionals and companies to eliminate cases of fake and fictitious invoices, inflated costs and reduced revenue. Simultaneously, there will be control criteria and when there are signs of tax evasion a thorough control will be carried out.
