Stars pricks with fresh cheese Mykonian!! (step by step)
Delicious fresh pricks Stars Traditional Mykonian cheese, cinnamon and honey….
For the dough:
- 1 fl.tsagiou yogurt (strained)
- 1 fl.tsagiou butter (at room temperature)
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp. baking powder
- some salt (the nose k.gl)
- 1/2 k.gl. sugar
- 3,5 φλ.τσαγιού flour
For the stuffing:
- 350 gr.fresko Mykonian cheese
- 1,5 k.gl. cinnamon (powder)
- 3 tbsp. honey
What are we doing:
Place in bowl all ingredients for the dough and knead well to make a soft & pliable dough that does not stick to hands (without hardened). Cover with a towel and put aside.
In a cuvette putting the filling ingredients and mix well.
We take the dough and divide into balls of approximately walnut (came out 22 pcs.)
We get a dough ball & lightly floured surface of the roll in round Pitakas not too thin (It opens easily with hands). We put in the center of, a full k.gl. by filling.
With our two catch fingers on one side and Chiba. After more next, and the next one after that (ie. make a star)
Continue the same process until all the dough balls. Place them on trays covered with baking paper rather close to each other.
Bake in a preheated oven at 170ᵒ C Resistance upper and lower air (why put 2 pans) for 30 minutes (to half the cooking time bringing the lower pan up and down the upper). Once cooked put them on a rack to cool.
