The Federation of Hellenic ICT Enterprises (SEPE) announced Greece's participation for the first time in GITEX GLOBAL 2025, the largest and most influential technology exhibition in the world, which will be held in Dubai from October 13 to October 17, 2025.
According to the announcement, "Greece's dynamic presence for the first time at the leading international event in the technology sector is another strategic initiative of SEPE to strengthen the extroversion of the Greek digital ecosystem, which is being implemented with the support of Enterprise Greece."
The Federation will host a pavillion with the participation of five leading companies in the sector - KPMG, nvisionist, Open Technology Services (OTS), Quality & Reliability (QnR) and Space Hellas - highlighting Greece's potential as a technology and innovation hub.
Completing three decades of uninterrupted and dynamic contribution to the national economy and Greek society, SEPE represents the Greek digital technology sector, which contributes approximately 8% to the country's GDP.
The companies will present the technological achievements of the Greek ICT industry over the last years, as well as their innovative solutions for the global market.
"Participation in GITEX GLOBAL 2025 will offer them unique networking opportunities, international visibility and business development, constituting an opportunity of strategic importance for strengthening the presence of the Greek technological ecosystem in international markets. This is an initiative of SEPE, carried out with the support of Enterprise Greece, the national organisation for the promotion of Greek exports and the attraction of investments, and is part of a broader strategy to boost the international presence of Greek technology companies and to highlight the country's innovation and technological superiority in the global ecosystem," the announcement added.
GITEX GLOBAL, which this year celebrates its 45th anniversary, is considered the most emblematic technology exhibition in the world, attracting more than 200,000 industry professionals, 6,500 exhibitors and participation from more than 180 countries. This year, the exhibition will be held in two impressive venues in Dubai - the Dubai World Trade Centre and Dubai Harbour - with more than 40 exhibition halls. GITEX GLOBAL 2025 will focus on innovations around Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Sustainable Technology, and other critical sectors for the future shaping of the global economy. The exhibition hosts nine parallel events (GITEX GLOBAL, AI Everything, GITEX Impact, Future Urbanism, GLOBAL Devslam, Expand North Star, Fintech Surge, Future Blockchain Summit and Marketing Mania), focusing on digital innovation, sustainable development and cooperation between states and businesses.
The President of the Board of Directors of SEPE, Yota Paparidou, stated: "The presence of Greece with a National Pavilion, for the first time in its history, at the leading global exhibition GITEX GLOBAL 2025, constitutes an important step towards extroversion for the Greek digital sector. It is an honor for SEPE to lead this effort, carried out with the support of Enterprise Greece, highlighting the innovation, competitive advantages and advanced solutions of Greek businesses at the 'heart' of the international technology scene, while giving them the opportunity to address an international audience of investors, decision-makers and technology leaders. At a time when digital transformation is, more clearly than ever, the key to future growth, national participation in GITEX GLOBAL 2025 sends a strong message: Greece of innovation and technology is here, outgoing, competitive and ready to conquer international markets."
